The Ayala Annual
Report Unified Look

GOAL

What do vast lands, fast cars and mobile phones have in common? Everything. Contrary to popular belief, Ayala Land, Honda Cars and Globe Telecom are but few of the subsidiaries of the Ayala Corporation. We aim to unify the subsidiaries in order for them to coalesce with the Ayala identity for presentation purposes and public information as well. More importantly, to take on a solid, imperial stance using as backbone the prestige, credibility, and financial might that is the Ayala name.

KEY

In 1996 ArtOne set the annual report of each of the eight subsidiaries on sail under a unifying theme. In order to eradicate the dissonant chord separate designs strike, we decided to implement a unifying design system. A design grid was given to each subsidiary containing design and specifications. All annual reports were assigned a standard size, separate design covers that adhere to the theme, and a short rationale for each. All annual reports are housed in a binder with an over-all design.

The Ayala Corporation has adopted this method in the succeeding years since the idea has first been introduced.

EXECUTION

Eight 10-inch square annual reports held together by a hard-cover binder for the Ayala Group of Companies was produced for the year 1996. A similar Annual Report was fashioned for 1997 under different theme and design concept.
