Graphic designer Francisco 'Dopy' Doplon's affair with digital art has been a years-long foray into a constantly evolving and creatively-stimulating medium. The flux of digital technology, far from being a hindrance, has in fact been the catalyst that led him to experience a range of subjects and styles.

Digital art - that is, artwork rendered through computer software or digital gadgets - is a fertile ground that is only being explored. Looking through its lenses, the old and the familiar suddenly morph into fresh creations that provoke the senses and slip us into unexplored levels of understanding. Digital art is, after all, more than the aesthetically pleasing. It is art, and consequently, it challenges our minds, our beliefs and our perceptions.
